Yes, we offer a managed migration service. To begin the process, you will need to supply us with your password to both your old account and your new one with Thexyz since we don’t keep this on file. To start the migration, simply enter the email address of the account from which you want to transfer email data. After providing the necessary credentials, click "Start" to initiate the process. Our system is designed to ensure a smooth and secure transfer of your email data, allowing you to seamlessly transition to Thexyz without losing any important information.
While you can migrate from a POP email account, it will not migrate folders other than the main inbox. It will not migrate contacts, calendar events and any sub-mail folders as this is not possible using the POP protocol. The POP protocol only permits access to the inbox, as it was designed in 1984 before the concept of multiple cloud folders existed. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you use IMAP connections whenever possible to preserve your folder structure.
Depending on which email platform you choose to migrate to (and from), the items migrated may differ. Typical items include messages, contacts, calendars, and tasks. For Exchange/Outlook migrations, our tool ensures a smooth transition of these essential components. Migrations are scheduled during weekdays between the hours of 9am to 7pm EST. Before cutover, we perform a staged migration to test the connection.
